Some of the worst parts of the school were the blatant racism that went on, the lack of discipline for it, as well as the anti-mask protest that went on. I did, however, enjoy the theatre program and wish it got more funding; it helped me so much throughout my 4 years there. It structured team bonding and gave everyone a creative outlet. Growing up, I didn't even know about plays or musicals but it helped grow a deep appreciation for the art.

Throughout the years I've been at this school has been very special and amazing. I liked how safe they were while coming back to school after COVID. they have the right policy's as other schools has and they were very concerned about the people who were they. the staff are very nice people once you get to know them and they are very resourceful and helpful. The lunch ladies are very nice and funny people to have small conversations with. The teachers seem mean at first but nothing helps more then communicating with them and sorting things out to find the right things you need.

As a student of san Juan hills highschool I started on 2021 and am set to graduate in 2025. To say the least the counselors lacked incentive to help students and were not convenient to anyone at all.

An excellent school with amazing leadership. The best high school in the District.A few of the teachers need to be shaken up.We've found that two of Honors English teachers (they are related) exhibit hubris when it comes to their teaching. They ask for behavior for their students that they themselve...

If your child doesn't have any problems that would impair their rate of learning (i.e. dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, etc) then they would do well. If your son or daughter needs additional support it will be a struggle. If they have an IEP then you're really in trouble. The teachers tend to 'lecture vs teach'...

I have now two children at this school. At one point I had my son at a local prestigious private school in 8th grade and was planning on keeping him at that school. However, when my daughter was a freshman at San Juan, I was able to clearly see the academics and programs that the school offered were...

Went here all 4 years of high school. It was pretty great academics wise. The teachers are all very understanding and helpful on the tough curriculum. I do know there were a few situations with bullying and other things that should not be done behind teachers backs but overall this school was worth...
