A beautiful high school that I will never forget. I'm only in my 2nd year and I already think that San Mateo High School is one of THE best schools a student like me could ask for. With a beautiful wide range of diversity and excepting to any and all individuals, I truly feel at home and seen in San Mateo High School.

What I love the most about San Mateo High school is very diverse, there are people from different cultures, and we see those cultures being celebrated. I also really like how the staff is easy going and kind. The only thing I would like to see change is on how they prepare students to go to college. I think more support would be very helpful to all students.

San Mateo High has a lot of good things going for it with funding and resources, however, there is a significant animosity among the student body, and many teachers have been exposed in recent years for engaging in irredeemable activities. Regarding staff, a few teachers are known to be problematic among the student body but have not received any repercussions for their actions.
