By far the best 7-12 school in Santa Fe. While it might not suit everyone, our family found it to be both academically rigorous and well-rounded with a robust arts program, built in school wide community service days and highly engaged faculty. This school has exceeded our expectations and our daughter is thriving due to the thoughtful, close knit environment that prep cultivates.

I'm a third year Computer Science student in college and I'd say Prep's academics are on the same level of rigor. Great school and support systems.

Santa Fe Prep has amazing academics and prepares you well for college. The teachers are willing to help you outside of class if you need help with a concept or anything which is very useful. However, there is no student life. It feels like there it is strictly academics and there is so much opportunity to have fun student events but that never happens. Everything seems half a**ed. I dreaded going to school especially by senior year because the environment felt toxic and everything is taught very one-sided if you are more right winged you are judged and it almost feels like you are not welcomed by faculty and students. The students are very cliquey, fake, and two-faced. The facilitys are VERY dated, for example, the couches in lounge areas are GROSS, and the buses need to be updated (the minibus is horrible). Make me wonder where all the tuition is going? I could go on and on and on but it will be interesting to see when there is a positive change.

I have spent years here, For the life of you do not go here, it teaches the method of being a corporate drone and the new head of upper school is not very good at making positive changes. The general idea about the school is that its not gonna educated you in a beneficial way.

I recently graduated from this school. Overall I enjoyed this school because of the friends I made and everything. They have such high expectations from you, which are very nice because it pushes me daily to reach my goals. I am grateful for that and the support I got. The sports head is just awful...

My experience at this school has been amazing. Prep has allowed me to challenge myself in so many different ways, which have helped me grow as an individual. The atmosphere at Prep has driven me to work hard, care for others and ultimately feel a part of a community.
