GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Trivium truly is a wonderful community. You become friends with everyone, and learn so much. Personally, I have so far enjoyed my three years here. There are a few things that I do, in my opinion, dislike. The school is very small, which means fewer school opportunities such as sports, large student organizations, etc. The student population is also very small, which can be a pro or con depending on the person.

The administration was not nice I had a lot of issues with the teachers attitudes the only Pleasant thing was the students that where there they really try to help you and include you in anything they are doing

There is one teacher in particular that I've had in the past. She did an excellent job making things interesting and fun and helping us retain information at the same time. However, there have been a few other teachers who I feel tend to contradict themselves and aren't very helpful to their students.

This school does not support students with specific learning differences. Specifically those with a dyslexic profile. The school psychologist tried to argue with the original IEP and then the IEE to remove SLD as the reason for an IEP. The director of the school constantly argues with you as a paren...

For connect classes, I listened to a student talk about catching a rattlesnake attacking him from behind for ELA. They discriminate against children with special needs (as they "can't support them"), for social- emotional support they bully kids via a tough love approach (which is archaic), and cons...

Our kids were only able to attend a Trivium in Lompoc for a few months before we moved. They were sad to leave this great school. We were sad to leave an amazing homeschool/charter school hybrid. We loved this school, it is a much better fit for advanced students compared to Crestview on Vandenberg...

My daughter cannot imagine going to school anywhere other than Trivium! She attended the Arroyo Grande Learning Center for 3 years and has now been at the Atascadero Learning Center for 3 years. Every staff person she has been exposed to has been invested her personalized learning experience as if i...
