The school is very good about making sure that everything we do is safe. We have cameras on campus and practice fire, earthquake, lockdown, and bus evacuation drills. Bullying isn't really a problem but when it is the teachers make sure to take care of it. The students here also don't really allow it.

I think what sets this school apart from the others is its genuine love of Christ and the student. Each and every teacher expects the best from you but is willing to work to help you. The atmosphere is also great because there are only about 60 high school students so its a very tight knit community. Its like having a giant family away from home. All the students are willing to help each other and encourage one another to achieve the best. Our sports programs are the same way. Since we don't have many students every pretty much plays all three sports. The student athletes spend a lot of time with each other and we grow closer everyday. We remind each other of tests and quizzes and try to help each other out. The biggest thing is how much they really want you to grow spiritually. The teachers and students want everyone and each other to grow in Christ and to seek out His will together.

Enjoyed my 4 years there and would go there again if I had it to do all over. Teachers were great, they treat you like family. Coaches are supportive and encouraging. Small school but great spirit.

Vca and first baptist church only allow good reviews yo stay up. Is that very Christian? Send your kids anywhere but here. I have been trying to speak my truth and they keep deleting and blocking me. Still a great school among other schools in santa maria area. If the good teachers stay for long time that would get a extra credit to the school.

I have had children at this school for the past 10 years. I do not understand what the previous reviewer is talking about when stating the school the lacks understanding diversity? This school shows no respect and understanding to diversity. What I had experienced is unbelievably arrogant prejudices and irresponsibilities.
