The best part of my experience was that no matter if you're new to a sport you are always welcomed to the team with open arms. There is no judgement in the team. The worst part is there are too many bathroom rules for when we are allowed to use it. They should revise those rules.

Overall I enjoyed my experience at Santa Paula High School a lot. I met a lot of people who are still my best friends to this day and I had teachers who shaped me into who I am today. However, I would not call it a perfect school. Parts of the school are very old and run down, and while there were incredible teachers, there were also teachers who I think did more harm than good. On average I would say I had a very decent experience at Santa Paula High School.

The biggest issue in Santa Paula high school is a lack of funding. The performing arts department is perhaps the most outstanding group on campus. The theater department does not have enough support from the district but despite that they work tirelessly to perform 3 different productions every year.

I graduated in 2001. One thing I learned from that school is I better get myself a good job and move away from there, if not my kids may be stuck going to that school as I was.
