GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have went to Shenandoah for 5 years and it is an okay school. Some things that I like about this school is that it is local and small, and everyone knows everyone. That has to be the only good thing because most of the people here are judgemental about other people that they do not know or hang out with. The academics here are not as good as other schools around us. There sports are not really good and they do not take care of the fields. The school is not diverse at all, and when the students see someone one from another race they do not know how to treat them.

There's not very many special meals for people with special dietary needs. But if the students were to go to the kitchen staff ahead of time and let them know why they need other options the staff would be happy to accommodate them.

This school has several cliques. Either your a jock, prep, band geek, or a choir nerd. If you aren't in one of these groups you are in the loner category. It's like most schools. All schools have their own set of cliques. Ours was no different.
