I'm a senior at Saugus high school and the best thing about Saugus is the amazing activities such as rallies and sports.

I feel that Saugus High has amazing teachers, that attended Ivy League colleges, and though the food isn't gourmet, I have eaten worse food, definitely. The only complaint I have is the lack of diversity. Most of the students that attend Saugus High look similar, or the same, and there is little to no ethnic, as well as cultural diversity.

My school is very inclusive and diverse, with multiple cultural clubs. I've never felt like I didn't belong, due to the kind-hearted and inclusive teachers I've had, as well as the inclusive students. Overcoming a school shooting in 2019, this school takes gun violence and mental health very seriously, my teachers always allow students to take time if needed and we celebrate remembrance yearly. All types of athletic teams, stereotypical academic groups, and cultures can co-exist with inclusive and supporting classes and clubs. However, life outside the classroom can be closed off. With different athletic teams and cliques, it can feel awkward to surround myself with others with different athletic goals because I don't feel the same.

I am a junior at this school and have done and experienced a lot the teachers care about the students and I have first hand experiences where our class will get in full on discussions about a given topic with the teacher. We currently run 100 minutes periods with three classes a day which are great...

I am a current junior at Saugus High School, so I would say I have seen a lot on this campus. Staff and supervisors have little to no regard for student safety or concerns. The principal is either absent or completely oblivious to current ongoings. Extreme homophobia and racism too.
