The best parts of my experience at Prior Lake High School are how kind and helpful most of the teachers are. Second to that I enjoy the competitiveness of sports in the school and the spirit that majority of the students and staff show no matter if the teams are losing or winning. In addition to those I also enjoy the flexibility in schedule and all the opportunities that are available to the students to further our education, especially programs like MNCAPs, PSEO, APs, and many others. Some of the things that I dislike about my school is the fact that sports are not counted as P.E. credits for students, and your still required to take at least two quarters. Lastly, another thing I don't like is our school's choice to opt out of the free meals program that was offered, causing us students to have to purchase lunches everyday which contain of questionable nutrients and ingredients.

Prior lake has been a good school overall. It's generally good in academics, socially it could use some work. Best part is the teachers. Worst part is the students.

I always loved how the faculty and students were so open to people coming up to them for help or just for someone to talk to.
