Savannah Country Day School provides a very specific life experience in which students get to make their own mistakes and decisions in order to teach them how to become the best version of themselves possible.

First off, I've had - for the most part - a great experience academically. While occasionally I'll have a "sub-par" teacher, per se, for the most part I've felt very lucky to have such great faculty. As for the student body, while I feel it's generally pretty inclusive and the community is supported in its endeavors to do right, it can occasionally feel a bit overbearing. I like the accessibility - of technology, resources, staff, etc. - and I don't think I really could have gotten a better school experience anywhere else in Savannah. I feel fortunate to go here.

We transferred from what was supposed to be one of the top elementary schools in the nation up north. SCDS is unimaginably better. What a difference. It's worth every penny and our daughter has blossomed.

I am also in the seventh grade at SCDS. SCDS offers academic supremacy to any other schools in the area, and the test scores prove it. SCDS does NOT ruin one's childhood, but switching in the middle of school life may not be the best idea, since the academics do offer a challenge. While Country Day...
