I have made a ton of lifelong friends at schoharie. I also feel that the courses that one can take are pretty fulfilling and you can always seek more challenging classes if you want to. The only gripes I have are that the food isn't great and if you ever have a complaint that gets brought up to administration nothing ever really happens with it.

The staff and coaches are excellent. The food. has gotten significantly better and a ton of people are really nice. There are a ton of academic and extracurricular activities that add a ton of variety and value to our day to day lives and provide a much more inclusive and immersive high school experience in many ways. However, many people are immature and act like idiots. There are currently no doors on our bathrooms and there is a large amount of vaping and other drug usage. Overall, the good outweighs the bad in my opinion and I have greatly enjoyed my time here overall.

The teachers are the only ones who will be there for you. Schoharie used to be very fun and exciting to go to but when I went there it felt like the administration had us on lockdown. The school doesn't do a lot of efforts to prevent racism/ homophobic bullying, they just tell you to see guidance or the VP and they'll take care of it, which they don't. The kids even bullied a teacher into quitting because he was gay. The school gets so much money and spends it on the wrong things.

I have attemted numerous times every year to get help for my child and the district has done nothing to aid us. Instead, they continue to bully my daughter t...
