GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Compared to another school that I've been to before transferring from another district, the academics are substantially farther behind. It felt extremely easy and the electives they offered weren't that many. It also has a large percentage of students that just don't want to learn and make the environment extremely difficult to learn in

My experience at Tyee has been pretty good. I really enjoy the clubs they provide and the community is very supportive. The academics are really good and teachers make sure to connect with students to help them succeed.

Tyee is a very good environment and you will always feel a sense of community, Teachers are amazing and the students as well. Tyee High School felt like a home to be while I was there. Staff will support you no matter what. Your success is very important to them and they teach you to also acknowledge you success as important as well. A lot of bonds were created through school, these bonds will probably last for lifetime so I'm entirely grateful for those four years.
