GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's a large school in a large district in a state that is always under-funding education. I like many people in the Ingraham community but it the school doesn't have many bells and whistles.

Ingraham High School is one of the best schools in the Seattle Public Schools system. Diversity, inclusion and community are the most important values to Ingraham.

There was not much about the school of ingraham that I enjoyed besides the other students there. The faculty were there for the paycheck and didn't seem to care much about education. They offered a running start program to college in high school at the nearby community college, which I did, and was an awesome program. I am very glad I did that, as I didn't need to go to ingraham anymore. It wasn't great. My sister went there after me, and there was a shooting while she was attending.

Good teachers, lots of activities and extra curricular for kids, and good college prep opportunities from our church experience.

I'd caution against taking the IB program here. It's true that IB is very "rigorous", but to what effect? If you're advanced academically, you'd probably be much more happy just taking the Running Start classes, because you will get far more actual college credit that way. Or if you qualify for IBX...

Some good teachers, some not so good. It's a very average high school, in my opinion.

There is a divide felt with in the school. IB students are often only hang out with other IB students, and seem to li...
