Rainier Beach High School's IB programs are good for me to prepare for college, the thing is that they also come with stress and there is a lot of more work involvement in it. On the brighter side though, the after school programs were so much fun. I get to hang out with people I know, talk, chat, laugh, etc., and it is so enjoyable and relaxing too.

The teachers are amazing. They're very open minded, friendly, and knowledgeable. The social life is good. The building is pretty old but they're fixing it so that's cool. The classrooms are pretty small but they might get bigger after the renovations (not sure). The staff is very considerate of the students.

I like how teacher think we can do some good in this world and how the schools gives the students the chance to do something that they want to do without having other people in the way of that. What I don't like is how teachers talk about BLM month like it's just another month of teaching.

I graduated from RB and have gone on to college and graduated with my degree. I have greatly benefitted from my experience at RB and would not be the person I am today or would have accomplished everything I have if it wasn’t for the real life training and development of the students, staff, coaches...

As previously stated in 2011, Rainier Beach had 90% of its teachers and staff Transferred/released but it was certainly not for the worst. We went through a 2-3 year process to get the International baccalaureate(IB) Program, which by the why is the most challenging courses you can take in high scho...

This high school is going downhill fast. It was already in crisis, and this last school year has been the worst yet. There is no accountability for students' behavior. The administrative team and dean of students have all been fired or transferred, and 90% of the staff requested transfers. It is imp...
