There are a good number of sports teams, and they do receive support from staff members (as long as you're on Varsity). However, there are few academic clubs-in face the only academic club I remember was the Scholar's Bowl team, which received support from teachers but not from the administration. FCA was a club for a little while, but I don't think it could receive staff support because it was a religious group. Forensics was another club available, but it received little support from administration. The school also had a select singing group that received some support from the school. However in recent years they haven't gone to any competitions. Basically any extracurricular activities that weren't sports were generally ignored by the administration.

No ethnic/racial diversity. Little sexual orientation diversity while in high school, but a few students have come out after high school. The school is relatively accepting to those of different sexual orientations, but still tend to use slurs as insults. Student involvements is pretty good at the school (at least when I went there).

While I was there it seemed fine but as I left high school and started to pursue a career in education my eyes were opened to everything wrong with the school and the administration. My favorite experience was when one of the students wrote in the yearbook that their favorite experience was "Graduating." I probably would not choose this school over again. I would choose a school that offered more classes for me to choose from and also had a better administration set up. The laptops are really nice to have in the classroom but the teachers don't know how to utilize those beyond note-taking and googling for research.

Outstanding small school where children are safe, can get a excellent education and opportunities to participate in great sports programs and other opportunities.

They do an average job at education, there are many other areas that this school needs major improvement. Bullying issues as well as discrimination by staff are both out if control. The Staff all the way up to and including the Superintendent could really care less it the staff discriminates against...
