GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's been a good experience for me, letting me learn new techniques. I would love it if the food was better, but overall it's a good school. Could be made better if we had more students.

Overall, McNairy Central is an alright school. There are a few things I would change such as the way that they prepare you for college. I have started dual enrollment classes and I don't feel like mentally I was anywhere close to what I should have been to start college. There are many teachers here that you will never forget even after graduation due to the impact that they make on your life.

I have gone to McNairy Central High School since my freshman year. It's a good school for the most part but it's more focused on the sports that go on instead of academic things. The best part of my high school experience is probably the nursing program. The worst part is probably just that it's so sports oriented and some of the teachers too. I think I would like to see academics be more focused on than they are now and for some of the teachers to seem like they enjoy being there.
