My overall experience with Mary G. Montgomery High school has been very positive. Academically, the school is second to none, but our culture and diversity could use some improvement. The best part of my experience has been learning with our patient teachers and meeting new people but the worst part of my experience has been the issue of racism at the school. As a black student myself these issues can often trouble me but I still see the best in my school and am thankful for the opportunity to go.

i am currently a senior at mary g Montgomery, and have been there all 4 years of my highschool years. Unfortunately, i hate to leave the school, yes its a highschool so everyone hates it by default and children are mean, but these were one of my most eye opening years in my life so far. i joined many clubs and sports teams, honors classes and dual enrollment classes and i will miss it. i enjoyed my time at my school and hometown, this school helped me become the woman i am today stepping into a whole new life to go to collage and be on my own and maybe mgm didnt prepare me 100% academically, but i know about the world and what i have to do in order to make a name for myself and they couldnt have been accomplished without going here.

Honestly, the school is gross, the lunchroom and the bathrooms are nasty. The Vending machines don't work.
