GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Great experience overall. Above average college readiness practices, good after school activities, fun clubs. My biggest complaint would be the food they serve.

Our school is a small clean school with many plus sides and downsides to it. Something I would change about it would be adding more electives.

Some of the main focuses of my high school life has been the fantastic times I have had with my friends. I love our academic program because they push us to our fullest potential so we may are ready for what is to come throughout life. I would like to see some of our gym activities change due the abnormal and irrelevance of many units.

Great teachers! But if you are a teacher’s daughter or son, be expected to be treated differently. If you are in sports, expect to be treated based on who you know, not how good you are at the specific said sport. If you aren’t a hill billy trumpy, expect to be treated differently.

I have a permanent injury disability because of the administration's negligence. I'm not the only one. There are several of us from my peer group who experienced simil...

The teaching staff is good, but the student body is one of the least mature I have ever seen. They can be very intolerant, probably mostly cause it is a small town and they are not as exposed to differences as some schools. I got along with most teachers, and they were generally found to be very hel...
