Sergeant Bluff-Luton was a good school with a good education system. It was either hot or cold depending what classroom you were in. The teachers were nice and knew their topic well. Sports were a huge thing for the school and they pride themselves on the state trophy case. The theatre program was under funded but always put on really good plays. Overall, Sergeant Bluff-Luton was a very good school to attend and I made some really good friends.

There are great teachers at Sergeant Bluff, and they all want to see you succeed. There is also a great learning environment created by the teachers. The guidance counselors are also great and give you a lot of good information to help you prepare for college. They give you information about applying to colleges, filling out the fafsa, and other college requirements.

I am the publisher and editor of the Sergeant Bluff Luton weekly newspaper, and have been since 2003. I have had the opportunity to work in education as an English/Journalism teacher, and later as a guidance counselor (and football, baseball, wrestling and strength and conditioning coach). I have to...

There is no badminton or fencing or even Arabic. What the heck. The education at this school was pretty good but some of the teachers were quite uptight and disliked it if you ever missed their class. Attempting to get some teachers to work with you was like ripping your nails out of your own hand....
