GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Seymour is a small town with a small school. Due to this teachers are able to help one-on-one better and can work with single students. This also means we don't have a lot of funding so it's a very old building. We have the most common sports but not anything special.

I would choose this school again if I had to do it all over, I like the small town and the feeling of a community.

Seymour is an excellent school with many advantages such as small class size and caring teachers. My wife and I have two students currently enrolled and one recently graduated from this school. We have been very happy with their development in the Seymour Schools.
