GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Tri-Central is known for being a small school with big results. Going to school at Tri-Central where everyone knows everybody, and everyone is down to earth, has been something I have enjoyed. I am thankful to have gone to this small country school.

The teachers never really taught the students anything. Some did really well and some just said here's the homework so good luck. A lot of students were failing because they had no idea what to do because the teachers weren't helping in class so they never reached out for help because why would they help outside of class if the won't even help during class. Then the teachers would get upset when we don't do our homework but in reality it wasn't always our fault. It's always a two way street and both student and teacher need to work together. I liked going to tc but it had its issues.

I have a love hate relationship with this school. On one hand the size makes it boring and we are limited in athletics. However the sports we do offer we are reasonably competitive in. The class size is nice just for the factor that you get individual help of you need it. We are pretty sheltered from much drug, gang, ect influence which helps every day to day school life. Overall I do enjoy my school, and while there are bigger and better ones out there, my school is okay.

Tri-Central high school...their motto is "Small School, Big Results". I would change it to "Small School, Few Results". Many of their great teachers have left and been replaced with brand new teachers who lack experience. The guidance counselor is harsh, rude, and not encouraging to students at all....

TC is a great school with a small, close knit family like atmosphere. They have done an excellent job with their AP classes.

Tri-Central is a great small school with caring teachers and staff! All 3 of my children graduated from Tri-Central and were well prepared for college. My youngest took advantage of the AP classes and started out with 9 credits for college. The board does an awesome job now that some administration...

This was a great school for a long time, but the current administration is not improving. Our testing scores are down, student, teacher and parent moral is down thanks to the principal and current school board. maybe we do need a change. The students of T.C. deserve to be at the top again, they dese...
