GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have had an average experience at Shelby, however, I would like to see a change in how they handle mental health issues. The faculty like to brush off issues because they do not want to deal with them. Sports environments are very toxic and the coaches are not supportive. Students harrass other students and the administration does not account for what happens.

The teachers at SRC are great at pushing their students to achieve more. The administration could take notes on how to make the school more student-accommodating.
