SCHS is a small school that is in rural Shelby County. I feel my time at SCHS was positive but I feel that based on size and demographics that there could be more done to prepare us for college. Larger schools have shown to do more with less and their students seem to ne better prepared.

Shelby County High School is nothing more than an average high school. It's just like the movies. The difference is it was where I was comfortable, and surprisingly eager to continue being a part of every day. It is not prestigious and it doesn't hold a lot of money, but it is easy to build a relationship and that is important for any teenager to thrive in life.

The school is under construction and it's hard to learn like that. Also, I came from a school that had more personalized learning and I really liked that. SCHS is not personalized.

Attending this high school was one of the most traumatic experiences of my entire life. The students are completely ruthless, and the staff does not support the students in any way. Students are typically discouraged by teachers, and are told “you will never amount to anything”. Bullying is a huge i...

I am not blaming our principal, but I recognize that ever since the start of our principal's term, there has been nothing but str...

This was one of the worst schools I've ever been to in my entire life. Their is almost no consistency in the rules that every parent thinks are being enforced. I see tobacco products being used by students all the time in almost every class I have. The dress code is absolutely pointless, and only a...
