The Shelton school has changed my daughter's life. My daughter struggles with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, dyslexia in the Shelton school has been able to help in all areas. My daughter came to the school, not able to recognize any letters and is now reading level. Shelton Integrates social skills and organizational skills into every part of their day. Whether my child wants to sports theater or just do academics, Shelton has some thing for everyone.

The good reviews for Shelton must come from reviewers for lower grades. The real severe issues begin in high school. Poor college prep curriculum and unresponsiveness to parental feedback.

I hated my time at this school. They allow bullying and they openly favor athletes and donors kids. Teachers are nice. They complain about leadership just as much as the students and parents. I had trouble getting into a good college and regret going here so much. It was the worst 8 years of my life.

Our son started at Shelton in fourth grade after he was diagnosed with dyslexia. He thrived at Shelton, where he received the school's unique multisensory and discovery learning methods. He graduated from Shelton in 2017 after receiving an excellent education and playing football, soccer and trumpet...

My son got a high A in algebra his freshman year. Was told he did great and mastered the material. Then he got a 16 on PreACT math subtest and we had him assessed by an independent consultant. Discovered that he’d learned practically nothing at Shelton. He had to retake algebra in the summer. The te...
