GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sheridan has multiple sports for students like me who are a multi sport athlete. We have a FFA Chapter that I am heavily involved in. I always feel supported by my teachers with anything I need and they are always willing to help. Overall I have had a great experience at Sheridan.

Sheridan high school is mainly ok, it has given me better opportunities then I would have had if I stayed at my past school, it allows free college classes and allows us to complete our work. There is a problem with bullying but it's less prominent then the lack of electives that are not full year based, many of us are getting stuck in classes that are unnecessary or are in no interest to us. I was a part of the drama program but the problem was that it was one of the only electives to put people in so we had many people who wouldn't work and were extremely disruptive to the rest of us.

I didn't have the greatest experience at SHS, but the teachers weren't all that bad and the classes were easy. The administration is ridiculous and the priorities are definitely off.

If you are an engaged parent, care about your child's education, and hold your kids accountable for their actions then SHS is great. The complaints that are raised are generally from the parents "whose kids do no wrong". That being the case SHS have phenomenal administrators, and educators who care...

Horrible. Students constantly behind and homework is never assigned.

Very low expectations and very poor discipline, the whole school system in Sheridan needs a complete overhaul.

Great school, if your a parent that is involved in you child's education. They work with you to get the most for your child.
