The Evergreen School is about as elitist as a school can be in the Pacific Northwest. I have found Evergreen kids to exude conceited, entitled, disrespectful behavior and basically sneer at children who are "beneath" them. To that, I say farewell.

Our child attended Evergreen from kindergarten through 8th grade, and we feel fortunate to have chosen Evergreen from among an excellent group of peer schools. Evergreen's academics shine, but particularly at the middle school level. The faculty is engaged, motivated, and supported, and the facilities are superb. Lastly, the global studies program is simply without parallel.

Both of our children have attended The Evergreen School since either Preschool or Pre-K. The school specializes in children with high intelligence and the challenges they bring and they deal with it amazingly well. Children here are exposed to a vast array of information and learning styles with programs that build their hunger for Math, Science, Languages and the World.

This school loudly proclaims its commitment to diversity and inclusion, yet those values seem to only apply if you align with a very narrow, liberal, and often anti-Christian perspective. Our son came to Evergreen in fifth grade, and it is an excellent school all around. The teachers are AMAZING and the administration makes sure everything runs smoothly. It's a very supportive community, and I highly recommend Evergreen for any highly capable student.
