GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I feel that the school is much better than it was in the past thanks to very welcome administration changes. My teachers at Sidney changed my life.

I've been going to Sidney High School for two years. The best thing is that they have amazing janitors that do their best with cleaning. But the teachers are below average. Some are amazing but most can't even teach the class properly. They will explain for 10 minutes a brand new subject then give you a paper nothing like what you just learned. Then just ignore you.

For one, a good chunk of teachers are straight out of college and usually leave after 3 years; to get a better job at a better school. This leads to hit and miss teachers, on how effective they are. While I was there, ther...

Great experience. Helped prepare me to go to The Ohio State University from which I recently graduated. Without the preparation from the dedicated teachers, coaches, and mentors, I would not have been ready to face the challenges college would bring.

I have had a very nice experience at sidney high school. I have always been a proud yellow jacket and a cheerleader. Despite my rating I think it was a pretty good school. Not everyone can say that about sidney though so I had to voice others opinion

Most impressive, the Academia team is ranked in the top 25 in the nation and top 5 in the state of Ohio! If your c...
