Silver Lake is a great town to grow up in and go to school. The ability to play a variety of sports and participate in a lot of activities is something not possible in larger schools.

I love the hometown feel of SLHS. Everyone, including teachers and students care about each other. Athletics and academics are top notch. If I could change anything though, I would hope that the students would be less closedminded and ignorant about issues like race and sexual orientation.
