Model UN and Ms. Dunlap have made this school an amazing experience for me. Just a couple weeks ago we got to go to NYC and NHSMUN (a high school mun conference) and it was super fun. While the school is extremely under-funded by the county its doing the best it can. I will say that the academics are not challenging at all for advanced students, but other than that the school is alright. I've made amazing memories here.

I attended this school back in 2013, and although middle school isn't fun for anyone, SSI was alright. It's in a good location, granted I don't know if the purple line will make it better or worse. I liked most of my teachers, and got to know the attendance secretary pretty well. The Spanish immersion program and probably the French program too are the best reason to choose this school. Kids who want to be ahead in high school, these language classes count for high school credit.

School is great!. I loved the teachers and they treated you with so much respect. I came to school once with a black eye after a fight back home and the assistant principle walked pass me and she stopped me and said come to my office. The black eye was barley noticeable but she cared enough to pull me aside for a couple minutes to ask me what happened and how I have been. They treat you like you are at A prestigious private school but it is A public middle school. Also they take many precautions on preventing fights and altercations. They do the best to their ability and I love it.
