GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is nice sometimes but overall it is okay the school definitely deserves better teachers that respect students you will find about 2 good teachers in each grade. And the principal definitely needs to have better respect towards her students and teachers sometimes.

My child is finishing 5th grade and has thrived in the school. Wonderful teachers and staff. They do a great job with a diverse group of students, many of whom are considered low income. These teachers truly care.

Principal Earle doesn't seem to have the time or inclination to address issues that have been brought to her attention. Maybe she should find a new line of work, since clearly, the children are not her priority.

We have a 1st and 3rd grader at SES and we love the teachers there. They really care about their students and try to make it fun while having to stick to the strict testing demands from the state. The principal is "hard". She is very strict and we've witnessed her yelling at the children in the cafe...
