Slaton Highschool is a small town school that has a great moral system. I have been apart of many clubs and activities including cheerleading, FFA, softball, tennis, NHS, powerlifting, and track. My best parts were being able to be FFA President two years in a row for my chapter, become the NHS Vice President, and be a head cheerleader. The worst parts for me would be the four day week. I'm not saying I don't enjoy this four day week schedule, but it is very short and it had made my senior year fly by. I just want to make sure I enjoy my last year of High school. One thing I would like to see change would be adding more activities or school events for others interested.

I like that the high school stays friends throughout their four high school years because we are a small town we stay close.

The test scores are way too low. There is very little engagement with the staff and students. Also, they allow racism to run rampant in the school and allow other students to bully and commits act of violence against upstanding students.

This school represents the opposite of what a great school should be. Instead of forming future exemplary members of the society, they are cultivating racism and bullying by encouraging their students to bully and to use racist language against members of minority race students. This institution is focused primarily on sports and they are not really even good at those. I have lived here most of my life and pay astronomical property taxes to fund a school that mismanages money to focus on athletics over education. The superintendent is just here to spend spend spend and not...

It is a very friendly enviorment! I have just recently enrolled, but I am around to be a tiger. The teachers are great and the athletic coaches are amazing and have turned Slaton High School around.
