GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The academic aspect of the school was good. The problem that plagued me the most was that the adults in charge are not the best people to be around kids.

Slaughter Community Charter School isn't exactly how some perceive it. Due to it being a college prep school, some kids may think the worst. But its quite the opposite. Yes, we may have many rules, but many of those rules are explainable. Yes, we may not have all the best teachers, but with the good teachers we do have, it makes learning a whole lot easier. The school administrators do what is best for every students there and that is why learning here was a good decision to make.

I liked the support from teachers; however, the administration is not very involved with the students.

Very good!! Between the students, the community, the parents, and the teachers, this is a great place to be.
