A great school if you are a independent determined student. You will have great opportunities and time to grow in preparation for a 4-year university. I have had a good time at JCECA, but I wish there were more opportunities for creativity for students. The students needs should be met and their voices should be represented in decisions.

Johnston County Early College Academy is a well-diverse school with many opportunities for students, especially first-generation college students. They opted for choosing academics over sports (as there are none), but more than make up for it with they array of clubs.

My experience at Early College has been great so far! I love the small size of the classes and how whenever you need help the teachers are available. College classes can be overwhelming at times but the college offers help and it can be so relieving to have some help.

Students participating in the Early College program earn a large number of college credit hours and graduate with a high school diploma. My daughter will soon graduate from the ECA program with credit hours that satisfy 50% of the requirements for an undergraduate degree. The quality of instruction...
