Part of Social Circle City Schools, Social Circle Primary School starts young learners off on the right foot. Over 400 kindergarten through second-grade students attend Social Circle Primary, where kids get to explore new things and get excited about learning. Students are taught a standard course curriculum and “specials” enhance the program, offering rotating classes in art, computer, STEM, physical education, music and Spanish.
The school’s media center is filled with books to foster a love of reading and a Little Free Library on the school’s campus also lets kids choose books to read and enjoy anytime. The media center is also home to the school’s Makerspace, a STEM lab where kids get to hear a story before solving problems for one of the story’s characters. The problem-solving lets students use their creativity along with science, technology, engineering and math skills. Through the Makerspace explorations, kids can learn about robotics, coding, food sustainability and a number of other topics that they’ll encounter in the real world.
By instilling a sense of wonder, discovery and excitement in the learning process, Social Circle Primary School sets children off on a quest for lifetime learning and long-term success.
