GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sodus is a very unique place, we are very open to new students and making them feel welcome. Our teacher are very amazing with communication with the kids. I wish there was a better way to get kids to learn so our test scores were higher.

Most teachers really care about students and want to see them succeed. The school offers dual credit college courses that are helpful for saving time and money if you plan to attend college after high school. The music and arts programs are excellent. I wish that the school had better sports programs.

The high school should not give the same punishment to students if one of the students was more aggressive. Someone always comes out feeling unhappy, not heard, not validated.
