My experience at Solon High School was overall really good, coming out of COVID it was a rough start to freshman year, but as time went on high school was really fun and made a lot of memories throughout the 4 years

Solon High School has excellent teachers and great facilities. It invests and excels at athletics. This investment in athletics sometimes overshadows other needs in the school system including the arts. There is little diversity in Solon High School as it's a small town in Iowa.

Solon is a great school. We excel in academics and extra cirrucular activities, mainly sports. There is not a lot of diversity however the schooldoesn't not cause this. The teachers are nice and very willing to help any student when needed.

No matter where you came from, who you were, or how you learned there were people around every corner to back you up and help lead you in the right direction. I honestly couldn't have asked for any better high school experience than what I got to b...

I moved to Solon for the wireless high school, believing that administrators, teachers and students would be competitive nationally in global media. After volunteering for 2 years 3-4 times per week, I placed my child in a local school that took its orchestra to the Julliard in NYC and which had its...

I have got to say, I graduated from SHS a year ago and I don't believe that the academics are lacking in the least. There are other schools that are way worse off than Solon is and really Solon isn't bad at all. It is true that they could stand to update the books in the classroom, but the students...
