Ranked seventh in Ohio high schools by U.S. News, Solon High School offers students in ninth through twelfth grades comprehensive and rigorous academic experience. The high school, which earned the prestigious National Blue Ribbon award in 2019, is known for its outstanding faculty, innovative programming and its commitment to developing lifelong learners in an environment where “embracing diversity is our way of life.” Just over 1,500 students attend Solon High School and participate in a wide variety of unique, state-recognized programs including foreign language clubs, pre-med society, politics and debate as well as film club, just to name a few. Solon High School also incorporates many academic teams including Science Olympiad, academic challenge, mock trial, speech and debate, Model United Nations, and Future Problem Solvers (FPS). The Solon High School speech and debate team is one of the best-performing in the state. With its most current title achieved in 2022, the team has 11 total state championships. The Solon Comets maintain a robust athletics program and have captured many state titles including Girls’ Track in 2013 and 2014 and Boys’ Cross Country in 2016. Current athletic programs include football, soccer, cross county, golf and many more. With dozens of state and nationally-recognized academic programs and opportunities, the sky is the limit when you’re a Solon Comet.

Solon Schools are public schools. If you think that you are getting "quality" education at solon schools and the food that solon schools serve in their cafeterias is "healthy", then you should consider yourself as ignorant and brainwashed. Read the details.
