I used to be a teachers aid for sped. It was tough because the parents were not so involved in their children's education. Kids would get a bit wild and would make it really difficult to get control back. State test would be exceeded and students would dominate in sports.

The school wants to scare you into doing what you’re supposed to, rather than wanting you to do so. They often have staff or teacher that give up on students once they’ve gone wrong, rather than wanting to see the child’s perspective first.
