I enjoy going to this high school; the only fault is the facilities. Our school is very old and many of our athletic areas are not in the best shape.

I've been apart of the South Kingstown School District from K-12 and overall it was a very positive experience. I learned in adverse circumstances (in light of a pandemic a few years back) and have always had access to caring and supportive staff. Of course kids will be mean and there are just aspect of school that aren't enjoyable, but in my time there I learned what to make of what I have.

South Kingstown High School has wonderful teachers and administrators who really care about the students. The CTE programs are great and growing. Communication is clear and thorough so you always know what's going on in school. They have strong sports teams and a diverse array of clubs and extra curriculars. It's easy to get involved and be part of the community. SKHS is a wonderful community full of school spirit.

SKHS is a test focused not student centered school with deplorable facilities, no plan to improve and an administration that ignores the feedback it gathers. Some wonderful teachers and staff try their best to make it special, but it is not a school I could ever recommend.

SKHS is overall a good school. The teachers and administrators are great. The only problem is the guidance department, which is seriously lacking. If they had a professional and effective guidance department I would have given the school 5 stars.
