I overall liked the school. There was a big focus on academics but there was a lack in mental health options and others. Also the facility was nice but the bathrooms were always closed when they shouldn't be and it made going a lot harder. The teachers are there for you but not all are great teachers. I would like to see more focus on mental health and people being there for you.

I would like for Southington Highschool to incorporate an afterschool bus program for those who cannot attend extracurriculars

Southington High School is a pretty good school overall. There are classes for everyone and there are many amazing teacher that teach many of these classes. I do wish that the school was better at preparing students for college and helping them get in. I am a junior at Southington High and I am interested in applying for scholarships and getting ready for college. But I have not received much help, besides from my parents, about applying and knowing what I want to do in the future.

discrimination in every spot in that building. students, teachers, admin, everything. they have no regard for a lot of students and seem to quite frankly want them gone if they reach out for help too many times for their liking. won't help students. overall horrible.

Overall, positive. If you think seeing fights in the café, kids doing drugs, and having horrible teachers positive.

SHS has an excellent athletics program along with some really great classes. I do this the school is too big and that Southington could use a second one though. I find that the teachers are almost all willing to help when you're having trouble and they all push you to try your hardest. I also this t...
