The school itself had excellent and caring teachers who actually wanted you to succeed, but the reason I don't give it 5 stars is the people that run the school (school board) are very unpleasant and unprofessional when something doesn't go their way.

Carroll High School is a super competitive school which is great because it helps you prepare for college-level courses. You make great friends and are challenged together and honestly, competing with your classmates on who got the highest test score really motivates you to do the best you possibly can.

This is a great school. We have 2 kids in high school and one in elementary school. Please note that the Great School scores are incorrect because this campus is only for first years and sophomores. Otherwise, it would be one of the best schools in Texas.

The school is great with sports, so if your child is doing football, you're in luck. And even the arts/fine arts programs, though severely less funded than sports, are appreciated. Very poor school. The extracurriculars are great, but if you want to give your child a good education be prepared to pay for a tutor and a therapist.
