I started at high point academy middle of my junior year. I was impressed by how welcomed i felt within just a week of being at the school. while being at the school i was taught amazing life lessons that i will carry on into my college and adult life. I met amazing people that i will have lifelong friendships. I played basketball at the school also in which i played as soon as i got their, basketball was always a struggle for me as i would always get injured everytime something felt like it was going right luckily, my school classmates, teammates, and parents were always by my side. although i was met with so nany challenges while being at high point academy i really learned how to overcome my obstacles. Overcoming obstacles was a saying that one of my teachers had that saying always reminded me even when their are obstacles you must stay grounded and have faith in overcoming them. I genuinely loved my time at high point academy and it is an overall anazing school

What I like most about high point are the uniforms. When i think of going to a public school i feel pressed to think about what to wear. Now all i do is pick out khakis and a polo. I would like to see more improvement in our band class. We dont really have good stands or instruments to borrow that aren't messed up.

My favorite part about High Point is the small class size and the "family-like" connection. You feel that the teachers know you better at High Point and that your education is more personal.

This is a somewhat long rant, but something I need to post. For the past 6 years 2 of my grandsons have attended High Point Academy Spartanburg. The first 4 years were very good. Last year and this year, no so much. Last year our 4th graders teacher told the class about how mean the 5th grade teache...

I have to say as an employee I don’t feel supported by administrators, school head or Human Resources. I thought Miss Sandie was different. I know she was trained by the best… but that person is no longer there and I don’t feel she is an advocate for us teachers anymore.

I'm a former student of HPA it is really nice, i loved it! i always made new friends, and loved my teachers ( besides Mrs.Ross in 2nd grade).My favorite teacher was Mr.T I was his favorite every year.and I loved running down the hallways with my friends.Definitely recommend this.
