I have had a good experience at Spencer County High School overall. The education is decent, while there are better schools out there I do believe they strive for every student to succeed. I would say the county is a very rural area. There's some diversity but it's very little. I'd like to see more diversity come into this school district as well as more acceptance to those students.

I love being a student at SCHS! I previously came from a school where I did not get as much one on one time with my teachers. In my opinion, there are much more opportunities to become more involved at Spencer County High School which I love. Since I switched to Spencer County, I have received a better and good education. My mom passed away my freshman year and the school worked very close with me to make sure that I had all of the resources that I needed and help to get me academically back on track. I don't believe that I have anything that I'd like to change.

I go to Spencer County highschool and the best part about my school is how close everyone is. We are a small local town so everyone knows everybody so it is easy to know a lot of people and make good friends. The bad thing about my school is the teachers. Some teachers are fantastic but others are rude and don't really teach you anything just hand you a book and makes it seem like you are already supposed to know stuff.

Most of the staff are very racially motivated. I had many classes with people of color and the teachers love to pick them out of the crowd of students and quite literally bully them. Also, if you have a learning disability they will set you in a special Ed room for one class period and then go on wi...

This is a wonderful school. Those who work there and the students who attend SCHS have no idea how lucky they are.
