Teachers are very considerate and concerned for students. The academics are lacking, but the music programs are all very skilled and well supported. The community is very involved and helpful.

For an Adventist School, Spencerville does a good job at providing extracurriculars and enriching experiences for its students. It is also very diverse and welcoming to everyone. Its weakness is its lack of course rigor and lack of college preparation.

Great school if you want your child to feel alienated and left out if they are anything but the same as every other student. bullying, targeting from certain teachers, and discrimination are some things to look forward to. there are a few great teachers, but the rest are about average.
