My six year old severely autistic son is attending his second year at Balboa Elementary and the special education teachers and program are wonderful! My son has come a long way and I contribute a lot of his progress with the care and dedication he receives from this excellent school.

This school is awful. If you are looking to move into the Balboa Elementary area, find a private school to attend or try to get in elsewhere. They are completely ineffective at disciplining bullies in the school, instead they blame the victims when the teachers are unable to manage the problem. We t...

Both of my children's teachers were far from great. The principal has no idea what she's doing, and has given me false information on multiple occasions, and this school has serious issues when it comes to bullying (they tell kids to "Toughen up" and fail to make bullied children feel secure telling...
