School spirit isn't that great. Events like Hoco aren't the best bc the school is cheap when it comes to that, but they love spending money on unnecessary stuff. It's fun if you make it fun though and you have good friends.

Mount Miguel High School has been around for decades and throughout those years it has developed a strong emphasis for college readiness. With programs such as Matador Early College. The sports at Mount miguel are one the best in the district especially Football, track, and cross country. Football being Division 1 and CIF and League champions. The school lacks in quality of the food and academics in terms of preparing for state tests or even the SAT.

I personally enjoyed going to Mount Miguel High school. I like the diversity at the school with the students just like anywhere it is up to you and your decisions to decide what you do with yourself here at Mount Miguel. I am grateful for my teachers as they really cared for my education in the MEC program.

I attended the school and it was a great school for me. Led to my very successful career as a safety professional. Great athletic department and great coaches.Would definitely send my kids to the school but I moved out of the area as a younger adult.
