The teachers at this school know the students on a personal level, which allows them to teach in ways that benefit the students and allow them to reach full potential. All teachers are available outside the classroom and create a positive environment, both in the classroom and in the community.

The school spirit at our school is not very strong. Students enjoy watching sports, but they don't go all out. Teams are very strong at SVHS, but most teams do not win many games. Our wrestling team recently won state. Our fitness programs are good within our school. There are many opportunities for athletes.

The administration is strict at Spring Valley High. Though they don't listen to the student body as much as they should. The policies on bullying are very strong, unlike the dress code. The administration says we have a dress code, but rarely do people have to change. If you are even one minute late, you are given a detention. So some policies are held strong.
