My experience in high school was a little different than everybody else's and I think that's what makes high school unique. Everybody has there own story everybody has there own life, that's what makes a difference. My highschool years I had many ups and down but most important I met some of the best people that helped me through it all during highschool that was there for me when I needed it and those people were my teachers. I don't know what I would have done without them they were more than your average teacher they cared about their students they showed me the potential of what I could become and still can become. I would love to see more change in our food system and the lack of communication between schools in our county. A lot of people say it's the kids you met in high school that made the experience, but for me, it was the teachers, and I'm so grateful.

The school is overcrowded. The staff is very rude for no reason. They are always mad and act like they hate their job.

My experience at Effingham County High School is fairly limited since I go to STEM, but I'm a part of multiple extracurriculars at ECHS. I like the clubs and teams I'm in, and I think that the teachers who lead those activities do a very good job. It's clear that they like what they do, and it makes the clubs enjoyable for me, too. If there was anything I could change, I would make there be less fights at the school. I've witnessed very few since I'm at STEM for most of the day, but I hear about them a lot, and it causes my dad to worry about me. At one point, he almost took me out of a club I'm in because he was concerned about me.

The school has gone completely downhill administration has changed that did not do anything but make it worse. They are too worried about things that shouldn’t matter instead of children’s education and safety. instead of being more concerned about the violent fights ,we are fighting over the color...

I don’t recommend this school for the simple fact that they had a case against them for racism. I don’t want my child to be in a environment that doesn’t want her there. I had recently moved to florida not to long ago so my daughter can feel a little more comfortable and welcomed. She always complai...

As someone who grew up in this county I'm sad to see how bad this school is now. My kid goes there now and we are only looking forward to the day they get out. Some of the teachers are really good, but the administration is more focused on dress codes that make no difference to education they have n...
