GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have had a great experience at Jonathan Dayton High School. I have nothing really negative to say. I have enjoyed my 3 years in every way.

As I continued my educational experience at this school they prepared me more for college and I never really felt in the dark when it came to college readiness. Overall, the school has overall good staff and teachers and it is an intimate environment where everyone knows each other and it is easy to appreciate that.

I have found that Dayton has provided a great selection of classes with challenging work. My child is excelling in school and I feel will be very well prepared for university like my friends children that have left this school district to go on to top notch schools like Penn and Harvard.
