The parents are required to maintain a certain amount of volunteer hours at the school. The students also need various forms of volunteer hours each year in order to graduate.

I was very involved in sports through the school, especially because my parents coached track and field as well as my younger sister's volleyball team. My volleyball coach was the best even though she tended to be tough on us. Everyone on the team got the opportunity to play despite their skill level. My mom believes that the parents were a bit too vocal about her coaching style but other than that our athletics program was one of the best in the diocese.

Classrooms are incredibly overcrowded, the principal is rude, disrespectful and quite unCatholic-like. The teachers do seem to care about the kids and the education is better than Napa public schools. If your child has any learning differences whatsoever, I would avoid St. A’s. They are ill equipped...

We LOVE Saint A's!!! Teachers and staff are warm and welcoming on campus and around the community. I am proud to send my children here. Parents are also fantastic-- a great sense of community. Spanish starts in kindergarten as does track. A rare gem of an elementary school!!!

St. Apollinaris has been the best choice for my kids! They are being challenged academically, have many extras (like Spanish since kinder), and are learning to be contributing members of our community. The principal and staff are very responsive to parents and children alike.
